The annual Spider Awards, focusing on black and white photography, dropped last night. I’ve entered these awards for the last four years, and each year I’ve gotten at least one nomination, but no winnings.

THIS year I received four nominations, but also TWO honorable mentions, both in portraiture. I’m quite pleased because this is an international contest and I think to place at all in such a talented field is pretty special.
