The Marin Society of Artists’ online exhibition “Through the Lens” 2024 was posted November 1st.

Today I received notice that my portrait of Perrin Marie from 2020 received third place.

While this image was made in 2020 I didn’t start circulating it until just this past year and it’s done pretty well as far as acceptances and some minor accolades.

Also on display in the show is a newer image for which I have not fully settled on a title, but for the purposes of this show it was titled “The Enlightened One.” It’s the color version of a photo I made with V in Iceland this past July. This was the first time she’d achieved this jump / pose and I’m grateful to have caught it.
