Today I received the results of the 2026 Muse Awards.

I am able to report that my portrait of Perrin Marie from 2020 took Platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and gold…and gold…and gold…and gold…and gold.

Last year I entered “Rebirth” into ONE category and took a platinum. That felt fairly nice. One entry, one win, and it’s one of my best images so that made sense.

This year I entered my portrait of Perrin from 2020 into TEN categories/sub-categories.

I had written maybe 90% of a commentary on this, but then couldn’t see what the point was.

This will likely be the last year I submit this is series of contests; it had been more of an experiment this last time and I think the results speak for themselves.
