This weekend I received notice that “Pilgrim’s Rise” took First Place in the Black and White Category at the annual DeWitt County Shutterbugs Photography Competition. This was especially nice because after placing in 2020 and 2021 I did not place in 2022.
This years Photospiva art show went live March 18 at the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin, MO. This year’s show features 125 pieces from 55 artists out of 823 images entered. This included five of my pieces. I received word yesterday that my body of work

Today the fotofoto gallery opened their 18th National Photography Competition. They selected 34 images from 362 submissions and I’m pleased to say Rebirth was one of the chosen few. Additionally they awarded first, second, and third place with three honorable mentions and I received one of the honorable mentions.
