This is a little late in posting since I was traveling, but on Friday March 27th the 3 day art show staged by Imagenation had a New York show. I (along with a few others apparently) were asked to show certain work in the show, marking a first for me
Sometimes I miss announcements and sometimes they aren’t made. Not sure which this one was, but back in January the online Fame Frame gallery unveiled their winners for their online show “Monochrome Excellence” and all three of my entries were accepted. Additionally “Into Dreamtime” took 1 of 16 honorable mentions
The Chateau Gallery was finally able to make their selections for their second “In the Nude” online show. Apparently they (again) got far too many entries to sift through which delayed the show by several weeks. I have a new photo in the show from my Venus Tour in Iceland
Today I received the results of the 2026 Muse Awards. I am able to report that my portrait of Perrin Marie from 2020 took Platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and platinum…and gold…and gold…and gold…and gold…and gold. Last year I entered “Rebirth” into ONE category and took a platinum. That felt fairly nice.
The Annual Photography Awards announced their winners today. They have a grand prize, first to third place in each of 5 categories, and then honorable mentions in subcategories. I’m pleased that all three of my entries with people took honorable mentions. You can see all the winners here. Fine Art:
Today the Decagon Gallery revealed their choices for their show “The Human Body.” There are many interesting and unusual images for this show and I’m pleased to have the familiar “The Leap” amongst the gallery of art. You can see the show here.
