Tonight I checked my email after a long day and saw that the Yeiser Art Center had sent out the notice of awards on the final day of the exhibition. I’d had a piece accepted for the show and was pleased because it was one I hadn’t shown before and they’d picked it over some of my more popular pieces.
Can you imagine my surprise when THIS is what I saw…
This is my FIRST first place.
I’m still a bit stunned.
At risk of being a little over-the-top I think this is a good moment to give thanks.
