The 6th Annual Chelsea Awards open at Agora Gallery February 18th, 2025 and runs for a week. There is a reception February 20th. I am pleased to have a photo in this show for the third year in a row. You can see it and the rest of the show
February 1 through March 1 the Chateau Gallery will have “The Monochrome Image” show in display on their website. I am pleased to report that “The Leap” took one of three honorable mentions (there was also a “curator’s choice” and an “editor’s choice” awarded).
I have entered a lot of contests in the last 4 years. Sometimes the results don’t come for close to a year. Sometimes they don’t tell you the results are up. I was reviewing my entries today and saw I hadn’t seen a result for the Foto 2024 contest at

The emails came out today as promised and I went 3 for 3 in that all 3 entries got Honorable Mentions. This is of course good news, though after last year’s second place it feels like I fell short. The problems of previous success I suppose. You can see all
The Tokyo International Foto Awards for 2024 dropped today and I was pleased to take three honorable mentions out of four entries. The one for my “American Addiction” series can be seen on today’s (6-January) on mrpvisionaries.com. The other two are for my photo of “V” and of Gazelle walking
Recently the juror of NYC4PA’s Monochrome contest announced their winners.There was a grand prize, three first, second, and third place, as well as juror’s selections and honorable mentions. I am VERY pleased that “Rebirth” was award one of the FIRST PLACE awards. You can see the entire show here.
The 1839 Awards Photographer of the Year Awards dropped yesterday. I’d not entered this contest before, so I entered my go to Dreamtime series in the non-Professional Underwater and People categories. In people I received an honorable mention.
